Island Girl

Stewart Marines latest charter boat has just completed another successful regatta at the Voiles de St Tropez.

Chartered by a well known Australian off shore sailor she 3,3,4 in the first three races and came a creditable sixth overall.

The latest addition to our charter fleet is a Dufour 45e cruiser racer. It seems she is more racer than cruiser, featuring a tall three spreader rig and racing keel.

That said the boat has a beautiful interior with three double cabins including an on suite shower in the forward cabin for the owner/charterer.

The boat is fully equipped for racing and cruising and is fully coded to carry 12 people inshore and eight offshore.

The boat is now on its way to the Canaries where it will take part in the racing division of the ARC rally. This leaves Las Palmas on the 23rd November   Arriving in St Lucia mid December.

Five paying crewmembers are already signed up for the race.

After Christmas the boat will take part in a series of regattas in the Caribbean, starting in Barbados in January finishing in Antigua in May.

A full list of the events availability and can be found on our New website coming very soon!!

The Dufour 45e Performance has a modern look, thanks to her sleek hull lines. She has got the typical characteristics of the Dufour Performance Signature, is designed for fast cruising and also offers the advantages of a comfortable and spacious sailing yacht.  The large cockpit allows for a full racing crew, or a comfortable end of day relaxing area.  The under deck furling system accentuates the uncluttered deck layout.

The hull on the Dufour 45e Performance optimises its full length; the plumb bow maximises waterline length.

Below decks the accommodation is stylish yet functional; the saloon settees allows for use as spacious seating as well as long berths.  With options for both three and four cabins, the Dufour 45e Performance will match your needs for both fast ocean cruising and comfortable pleasure.
